Francesco Todaro, Bacciardi PartnersBacciardi Partners announces the launch of its new service line dedicated to “Special Situations”, a strategic initiative designed to support companies facing operational, managerial, or financial distress. The new Division responds to the increasing demand for assistance from entrepreneurs navigating phases of instability and aligns with the growing regulatory focus on adequate organizational structures as early indicators of corporate crisis—an obligation now imposed on all businesses.

As part of this initiative, Bacciardi Partners welcomes Francesco Todaro, a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Turnaround & Restructuring. In recent years, he has served as Chief Restructuring Officer and Temporary Manager in complex strategic repositioning and recovery processes. His arrival strengthens the Corporate Finance area, bringing crucial technical and managerial expertise to support business continuity restoration initiatives.

“Businesses may face periods of significant operational, generational, or financial stress that require a prompt response,” states Francesco Todaro. “Our role is to stand alongside entrepreneurs during their most delicate moments, step on board with them, and swiftly define the course correction needed to put the company back on the right trajectory.”

Lorenzo Bacciardi, CEO of Bacciardi Partners, highlights the strategic relevance of the new service line: “Our new service offering is a concrete response to a growing need among companies: having professionals capable of identifying signals of discontinuity and turning them into informed decisions. The Division is perfectly synergistic and complementary to Bacciardi Partners’ existing capabilities: the Legal & Tax practice leads crisis solutions by providing the legal and tax expertise needed to structure recovery measures; the M&A practice plays a fundamental role in implementing extraordinary transactions aimed at resolving the crisis; and the Organization & People practice intervenes on business processes and human capital within companies facing difficulties or affected by technological shifts, supporting organizational transformation and necessary cultural change. This ensures an integrated and multidisciplinary approach capable of supporting the company at every stage of its life cycle—from growth to the management of special situations.”

“The establishment of the Special Situations Division marks a coherent advancement of our strategic plan and the mission that has always guided Bacciardi Partners: standing beside our region and its enterprises at their most critical junctures,” notes Renato Capanna,, Head of Corporate Finance at Bacciardi Partners. “Sometimes this means supporting growth; in other cases — such as in this field — it means guiding companies through recovery and restructuring processes. Even businesses facing crisis or pre-crisis situations often retain considerable potential: preserving that potential means safeguarding value for the entire economic ecosystem.”
